National One Design Sailing Academy is hosting a North U “Fall Training” clinic in Oakville, September 22-24, 2017. The clinic will provide racing training aboard the Academy’s fleet of 10 Flying Tiger 7.5s. Enrollment is limited to 50 sailors. A team of 7 expert coaches will assure that each sailor gets closer personal attention over the 3 full days of training.
Curriculum
Improve your sailing and racing skills through a combination of on-the-water drills, coached training, shoreside seminar instruction, video review, and in-competition coaching. The emphasis will be on practical real-world techniques to improve starting, boat speed, crew work and tactics.
Set Up
Using One Design’s fleet of 10 Flying Tiger 7.5s and 7 coaches rotating through the fleet, each sailor will get close personal attention over 3 full days of sailing. Coaches will be on board and rotated across the fleet throughout the weekend.
The program will be lead by North U Director Bill Gladstone.
