The North U Match Racing Master Class
Webinar Series
With Dave Perry
The North U Match Racing Master Class Series is designed to give sailors and umpires as passionate about the sport as David Storrs was the opportunity to use this postponement of racing to do some deep dives into the more intricate and advanced aspects of what it takes to win a match racing championship. Too often sailors and umpires have just enough time to arrive at a regatta. No championship team in any other sport operates like that; and for that reason many good match racers find it difficult to take their game to the next level.
This Series gives the more experienced match racers and umpires the chance to raise their game while waiting for the AP flag to come down. Dave Perry will share his insights and knowledge of the game, and will generate ample sharing and discussions among the participants.
TARGET SAILORS & UMPIRES
The Masters Series will be for sailors and umpires who have competed or umpired in a World Sailing Grade 4 match racing regatta or higher. The goal is to have advanced level discussions.
North U also offers an On-Demand Welcome to Match Racing 101 Series for sailors and race officials who have not yet sailed or umpired in a Grade 4 or higher.

THE SERIES IS FREE
The North U Match Racing Master Class Series is completely free thanks to the generosity of David Storrs and his family. David would be so thrilled that passionate and experience match racers and umpires are taking the time to study and learn more about the game which he called the most complex form of sailboat racing.
AVAILABLE ON DEMAND
Dave has recorded a nine session series. You can view and re-view the full series of Recordings On-Demand.
Underwritten by a generous grant from the late David Storrs, 2017 winner of the U.S. Match Racing Championship for the Prince of Wales Bowl and passionate supporter of match racing.
